Terabinth 01:30

There were three cherry trees once, Grew in a garden all shady; And there for delight of so gladsome a sight, Walked a most beautiful lady, Dreamed a most beautiful lady. Birds in those branches did sing, Blackbird and throstle and linnet, But she walking there was by far the most fair - Lovelier than all else within it, Blackbird and throstle and linnet. But blossoms to berries do come, All hanging on stalks light and slender, And one long summer's day charmed that lady away, With vows sweet and merry and tender; A lover with voice low and tender. Moss and lichen the green branches deck; Weeds nod in its paths green and shady: Yet a light footstep seems there to wander in dreams, The ghost of that beautiful lady, That happy and beautiful lady.

Heavy Mind 04:10
Give me a mind as heavy as water set over a heart as light as a flame, then heart will set my thoughts to boiling and so keep them pure – for most of the time. Give me a heart that’s lighter than air to bear up a mind as heavy as stone, then heart will bear mind high over the surface to contemplate its provenance below. And if the flame ever should blow out, or rarefied gas escape into space, though stone it may sink, and water may settle, my mind will remain intact, while I wait for steel to strike, and fan into flame, if helium won’t return. Water and earth in time will bring forth a fuel that is fit to burn.

Behind this door Never enter, you won't see It is not for you to know. You have your own, Do you know, can you see? There's a place I will never go.

about

When the pioneers explored the mountains around what is now Trebizond, Utah, they encountered the tree commonly known as mountain mahogany. To them, the tree's exotic appearance seemed Biblical, and, not knowing what a terebinth tree looks like,* they applied the name to this new-found species; the erroneous spelling crept in, and the misnomer took root.
On this record are several songs that, in one way or another, concern trees and forests.

* The Pontic contingent was yet to arrive.
